Introducing VIP Grooming - Our New Salon Is Finally Ready

This is a post we’ve been so excited to write, because our new grooming salon is officially open at VIP Dogs Marbella!

Since the beginning, our goal has been to create a place where dogs could have everything they needed in one happy, familiar environment - playtime, rest, cuddles, care, and eventually, grooming too. It felt like one of those dreams we kept tucked away for “one day,” and now, after months of planning and learning, it’s actually happening.

The salon is right here at our home property, which means the dogs can be groomed while they’re with us for daycare or boarding. Honestly, that’s one of the things we’re most excited about. The whole process becomes so effortless for owners, and so much calmer for the dogs. No travelling, no extra appointments, no new groomers or strange environments. They spend their day playing with their friends as they normally would, and then they get their pampering session, and go home looking gorgeous.

For the dogs, it’s a different experience than a typical grooming salon. They already know us. They know the smells, the sounds, the routine. They’re relaxed (and usually happily tired), which makes everything softer - brushing, trimming, washing. And because it’s just one dog at a time in the grooming space, there’s no waiting around, no stress, no pressure. If a dog is anxious or not comfortable with certain steps, we simply slow down, or even break it up over a couple of days. That’s the beauty of doing grooming in a daycare setting, we can work at their pace. 

All grooming will be done by Erica, who is currently completing her formal grooming certification. She loves learning new skills, especially when it means caring for the dogs in an even more complete way. The fact that the dogs already trust her makes the whole experience much happier for them, and honestly, that’s what this entire project is about: creating stress-free, gentle grooming that actually feels good for the dog.

To start with, we’re offering all the basics: washes, brush-outs, tidy-ups, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and full grooms for all breeds and coat types. We’ll keep expanding as we go, but for now, it’s everything your dog needs to stay clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.

We’re genuinely so proud of this new chapter. It feels like another piece of the VIP Dogs vision coming to life, and we can’t wait to share it with you and your pups. If you’d like to add grooming to your dog’s next visit, just send us a message.
